Duties:

- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities.

- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.

- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.

- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.

- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Skills:

- Experience in cooking and meal preparation.

- Understanding of memory care techniques for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals in need.

- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and practices.

- Experience working in assisted living or senior care settings.

- Familiarity with medical records documentation and confidentiality protocols.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $14.35 - $16.50 per hour
