Advanced residency position in the Department of Physical Therapy within the UTSW School of Health Professions. Resident applicants should have background and focus in a specific area of clinical concentration (Orthopedics, Sports, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary). All applicants must have applied through the RF-PTCAS centralized application service, completed all application and interview processes, and have been selected for the content specific residency by the Department of Physical Therapy. Requirements for residency application through RF-PTCAS include completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and eligible to practice in the state of Texas. The 12-month program includes a 300 hour didactic curriculum (synchronous and asynchronous education courses), 1200 hours of independent clinical practice (in area of concentration), and engagement in research and academic teaching opportunities coordinated through the Department of Physical Therapy.
