Department Description
The School of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry in the College of Letters and Sciences is housed in the Chemistry Biology Building and the Trainer Natural Resources Building, with satellites in Wausau and Marshfield. The Departments of Chemistry and Biology consist of 37 tenure track faculty and staff across the Stevens Point, Wausau, and Marshfield campuses. Faculty in both departments represent a wide range of subdisciplines whose primary mission is teaching to, and performing research with, undergraduate students.

Position Summary
The CBB Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Chemistry Biology Building (CBB) at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Duties include: 1) manage/supervise all operation and repair of CBB facilities, and ensure necessary access, security, and safety guidelines; 2) responsible for liaison activities with all other on- and off-campus agencies, departments, faculty, staff, and students; 3) perform building/department services pertaining to procurement, budget, accounting, receiving, and inventory; 4) supervise/coordinate use, maintenance, repair, and grievances of all building equipment, instrumentation, and electronics; and 5) remain on-call for any building related problems, activities, or emergencies.
Shift: Full time (40 hours per week), with the majority of hours during standard campus hours (7:45am-4:30pm). On call hours necessary for the maintenance and security of the building.

Terms of Employment
This is an Academic Staff annual appointment, exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
