Job Summary

Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database\[s\]. Identifies data

sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents

the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored

procedures. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

0 – 2 years of experience: ~60 k

2\ – 4 years of experience: ~70 k4 \ years of experience: ~ 80k

Responsibilities

• Design and organize a data warehouse for efficiency and scalability

• Expertly script regular processes using Python, SQL , and R

• Database programming work experience with Microsoft SQL Server and

other database and ETL tools

• Work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferences

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferences

• A master’s degree is preferred with a focus in Computer Science, Data Science or a

closely related field is required.

• Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server

• Ability to detect and trouble shoot SQL Server related CPU , memory, I /O, disk space

and other resource contention

• Strong SQL and stored procedure programming skills

• Experience with data profiling technologies, techniques and approaches for upfront

analysis and production control operations

• Experience as a data architect, ETL engineer or closely related field preferred

• Experience developing PostgreSQL solutions in an enterprise environment is preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in dimensional model for data warehousing is preferred

• Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Highly motivated and self-directed.

• Strong planning and time management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Team player who will enjoy working in a continual learning and growing atmosphere

• Capacity to effectively present results at conferences and meetings, to stakeholders and

peers
