University of the Pacific is Hiring a T/C Consumer Support Staff - Cafe Enclave (Temporary) Near Stockton, CA
Primary Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the Vocational Services Director, the T/C Consumer Support Staff - Cafe Enclave will provide on-site support to the Cafe Enclave and Employment Recovery Services program.
Essential Functions:
Perform and supervise Caf Enclave duties for up to 8 individuals. This includes, but is not limited to:
Train Caf Enclave staff on cashier, customer service, food handling, and safety tasks.
Train staff on cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining Caf equipment and eating area.
Train staff on appropriately storing Caf food and equipment.
Train staff on all safety rules.
Document all food sales and items needed for monthly caf orders. Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy.
Complete individual work assessments.
Use computer and software applications to accurately type and document data. Report data to direct supervisor on a quarterly basis.
Identify concerns or issues that may develop at the worksite.
Hold weekly and monthly enclave meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Twelve (12) months of volunteer or paid experience in a mental health-related field.
Applicant must currently be receiving services from San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services.
Ability to pass background/sanction checks for the funding agency(ies).
Preferred Qualifications:
Twelve (12) months of cashier experience.
Ability to follow oral and written instruction.
Ability to learn and adhere to university procedures involving the handling of cleaning agents or potentially hazardous materials.
Certified Wrap Facilitator.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations, and demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and inclusion.
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

The position requires performing physical activities, including standing, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching while interacting with adults and significant others within the field and within the Martin Gipson Socialization Center. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Possible contact with chemicals, loud noises, and confined spaces. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Position is scheduled for 10 hours per week, during Gipson Centers normal business hours of 8 am-5 pm, Monday - Friday.
Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience, non-exempt
