SalarySalary Range: $52,000-$58,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications

Essential FunctionsFunction: To provide administrative and supervisory skills in the management of a specific service area within Admissions Operations. Serves as resource for the campus, meets the mission of the University and supports the need of a student-centered philosophy.Scope: Responsible for overseeing the daily operation of Graduate Admissions Processing.
Typical:
- Supervises staff that perform the assigned function and responsible for assigning staff to projects and includes the participation in the recruitment, supervision and development of staff, performance evaluations and performance management.
- Prepares the reporting of data validation tables and monitors the integrity of data for the functional area. Prepares information and timetables to management for campus-wide distribution.
- Assists administrators, students, faculty, and staff with special requests and problems of a complex nature. Offers solutions to management regarding student issues with appropriate staff in various offices.
- Works with Senior Director and Associate Director to develop and implements new policies/procedures for Enrollment Operations activities; and coordinates with Information Technology appropriate computer support.
- Participates in the testing of student record system improvements and upgrades in support of work done in the assigned area.
- Trains staff and personnel from offices throughout the campus, on use of the student information system and correct policies, procedures, and standards; and prepares training materials and documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Periodic:
- Prepares written reports for the Senior Director and Associate Director.
- Oversees special projects.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Four years of experience managing or supervising a similar or equivalent unit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with all faculty, staff, and students, and the ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Five years of experience managing or supervising supervising a similar or equivalent unit.
- Ability to implement technological advancements.
- Knowledge of automated and worldwide web-based registration systems, voice response technology, and class scheduling.
- Experience using Banner student record system.
Working Conditions- General office environment. Work performed on multiple projects concurrently under pressure of rigid deadlines.
- Occasional weekend and evening hours required.
This position will be primarily located:
Hybrid-Regularly: This position will require working both remotely and on campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
