The Director of Regional Development for Fort Worth secures private and voluntary support for UT Arlington from alumni and friends, with a focus on Tarrant and Parker Counties, for Development and Alumni Relations. They identify, qualify, and cultivate potential major gift donors and prepare solicitations for those individuals; solicit them with volunteer or academic leadership assistance if necessary; ensure proper recognition and stewardship is given to those who give. Additionally, they collaborate with colleagues in Development and Alumni Relations to secure gifts for university-wide funding priorities and other special projects as assigned. They also manage a portfolio of 100-125 potential or actual donors.
