University of Tennessee Medical Center is Hiring an Integration Architect Near Knoxville, TN
Position Summary:
The Integration Architect assists with the design of standardized message interfaces among health care information system applications and a centralized clinical data repository, as well as design workflows to help facilitate the capture and transmission of clinical data to and from various systems currently in use or being implemented by UTMC. This role includes meeting with customers to assess interface requirements, determine detailed message specifications, developing interface descriptions and detailed test plans, and providing feasibility assessments for new solutions. IA's should be familiar with multiple clinical data transmission protocols to include HL7, FHIR, and FTP, and combines that familiarity with comprehensive knowledge of Cerner solutions for 2nd-tier/level troubleshooting and resolution of issues relating to all interfaces between UTMC's primary EMR and other systems
Position Qualification:
1. At least 3 years relevant job experience required.
2. Experience with the following is preffered:
- HL7
- Cerner FSI
- API experience including Cerner's FHIR.
- General familiarity with Cerner solutions and backend technologies
