USF seeks a Director of Leadership and Reunion Giving to lead growing fundraising programs and serve as a front-line fundraiser, strategist and manager. You will develop and implement fundraising strategies for our mid-level leadership and reunion annual giving programs, create and execute fundraising campaigns and strategy, and lead a growing team of frontline fundraisers. Full Job Description: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and supervise Leadership Annual Giving team's frontline fundraisers to achieve annual and multi-year goals and oversee a program raising over $1 million annually.
Design and build a comprehensive class reunion giving program for USF that elevates reunion giving to a key pillar of the USF's fundraising strategy.
Manages a portfolio of mid-level leadership annual giving prospects giving at least $1,000-$10,000 annually with 10 significant prospect/donor visits including 5 solicitations & engagement contacts each month.
Manage personal and team fundraising goals that are donor-centric, ROI and KPI metrics driven, including clear annual activity and fundraising goals.
Contribute to pipeline development by qualifying prospects as mid-level, planned, major gift donors.
Recruit and staff alumni gift committee volunteers in partnership with Alumni Engagement and Gift Planning.
Develop annual and multi-year comprehensive fundraising plans and set aspirational goals for the team.
Implement performance metrics and accountability for the highest level of performance and growth.
Further the development of cultivation strategies of prospects and volunteers.
Coordinate with Gift Planning, Major Giving and other colleagues to expand donor pipeline and encourage blended-gift solicitations.
Ensure direct reports have a sense of responsibility and ownership for successful outcomes.
Maintain a leadership style that is open, fluid, inspiring, empowering, and motivating.
Ensure growth of direct reports by providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development.
Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of five years progressive and successful experience in development and fundraising, preferably in individual giving and higher education.
One or more year(s) of experience leading/supervising teams, staff, interns, volunteers, and/or projects.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with prospects and donors and successfully move them through the moves management cycle.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to deliver a compelling case for support.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative ideas and programs.
Commitment to appropriate use of sensitive constituent data and familiarity with relevant privacy laws.
Demonstrated time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel and work weekend/evening hours on occasion.
