Responsibilities
LOCATION:
Rochester Tech Park (RTP), Gates, NY - Remote options available after in-person training. Occasional onsite meetings / work at RTP are required. Remote location must be within 2 hours of RTP and within New York State.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under general direction of the Assistant Director and with significant latitude for independent judgment, the Title TBD, is responsible for the development of training programs for the Outpatient Billing and Follow Up teams. Training programs will include written training tips and updates, online learning modules as well as onsite instruction. Develops and maintains measurement tools to track staff participation as well as the effectiveness of training.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concurrently designs and develops multiple interactive online training modules as well as onsite training classes. Designs learning products, including web-based aids or electronic performance support tools, and instructional aids for instructor-led classroom or online use. Adapts and structures instructional content or delivery methods for different levels or types of learners.
Collaborates with subject matter experts, including the management team, to define instructional, learning or performance objectives. Interviews subject matter experts or conducts other research to develop instructional content. Uploads completed training modules and educational materials to learning management system.
Assesses effectiveness and efficiency of instruction according to student learning, knowledge transfer and satisfaction. Develops measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions. Analyzes performance data to determine effectiveness of instructional systems, courses, or instructional materials.
Acts as the sole developer of hospital billing educational modules for PFS staff in the absence of applicable training opportunities available in a standard educational setting.
Represents department on various internal and external committees.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required
1-2 years of related experience required
or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Pay Range
Pay Range: $50,752 - $71,053 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined byconsidering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
