| Primary Purpose of Department | The Office of University Development's primary purpose is to build philanthropic relationships that engage alumni, donors, students, faculty and the community in supporting the University's mission. These efforts include working closely with the donors, governing boards, alumni, friends, community members, foundations and corporations to increase private giving to the University. The Office of University Development is within the division of University Advancement. |
| Primary Purpose of Position | The Donor Experience Officer (DXO) under the direction of the Associate Director of Annual Giving will enhance alumni engagement and encourage philanthropic support towards UNC Charlotte. The DXO will have responsibility for discovering, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding leadership annual giving donors, as well as building and enhancing the pipeline of major gift donors. The DXO is expected to demonstrate passion for UNC Charlotte and a desire to make an impact on the future of the institution. |
