• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of demonstrated leadership experience in strategic planning, building research collaborations, and overseeing operations in an academic, research, or healthcare environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening and problem solving, relationship building, and conflict negotiation skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate across a broad range of people from senior healthcare and university leadership to entry level clinical research professionals.
• Strong strategic vision that emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach with active involvement of all stakeholders including but not limited to research operations, research infrastructure, research development services, research training programs, and research business operations.
• Detailed tactical understanding and experience with every step of the clinical research process.
• Documented ability to initiate, organize and deliver institution wide clinical research initiatives.
• Ability to develop and implement goals and action plans and oversee multiple projects (i.e., implementation of new software, creating and reviewing policies).

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
