Position Summary | The University of New Mexico Board of Regents is seeking a dynamic professional to serve as Secretary to the Board of Regents.Reporting to the President of the Board of Regents, the Secretary to the Board oversees all operational, strategic, and administrative matters for the Board of Regents and handles a wide range of issues on behalf of the Board. Provides coordination and oversight in the development and management of Board policies, agendas, schedules, records, and activities. Serves as the primary point of administrative contact between the Board and university administration, working to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and coordination among Board members, University administrators, faculty, staff, students, public officials, and community members.

Conditions of Employment | Employees in this job title are subject to the terms and conditions of an employment contract. Employment contracts are typically subject to review and renewal on an annual basis. Work odd hours including weekends, as needed. Work may, on occasion, involve travel and overnight stay. |
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
