Position Summary | Popejoy Hall, the premier performing arts center in New Mexico, is seeking a Patron Services Coordinator to join our team. Popejoy hosts touring Broadway shows, symphony concerts, musical soloists and artists of international caliber, world-renowned ballet and modern dance companies, and noted speakers from a broad spectrum of disciplines with over 100 events per year. We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative individual who will be responsible for some day-to-day operations for Popejoy’s Front of House department and will also work many of the daytime, evening, and weekend events at Popejoy Hall. This position will be responsible for: · Acting as main point of oversight at Popejoy Hall events to include working directly with House Management Associates, Student Floor Managers, Volunteer Ushers, and the UNM Ticketing Office. · Research and resolve patron or volunteer concerns/complaints during and after events, often requiring collaboration with other departments at Popejoy Hall. · Schedules volunteers for shifts using Popejoy’s online scheduling system, Volgistics. To include the creation and posting of all Popejoy events and monitoring to ensure target volunteer numbers are being met. · Oversees Popejoy’s volunteer email communications account and responds in a timely manner to requests and inquiries from volunteers. · Maintains Popejoy’s Donor Lounge inventory and does shopping prior to events. Also reconciles purchases in collaboration with the UNM Foundation. · Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
