Position Summary | Building monitors help to ensure the safety of our students whooften work in the studios and labs after business hours. Monitors sit atthe front desk of the Art Building and check Lobo ID cards to grant access intothe building after hours and on weekends. Throughout the evening, monitorswill complete rounds to check on the status of the building. Monitors areexpected to call Campus Police or Security to handle any issues that may occurduring their shift. Anyone applying for the position must be able to work evenings andweekends, must be reliable and show up to shifts on time and remain throughclosing hours. The current monitored hours schedule is as follows: Monday- Friday5:30 pm – 9:30 pm and Sat/Sun 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Shifts will be divided among thehired candidates. Only those with a work study award will be considered. |
