Ways you’ll make an impact:

  • Play a critical role in building a robust community of philanthropic support by partnering with UNMC leadership and the UNMC Alumni Association.
  • Plan and implement major gift fundraising strategies including identification, cultivation, and stewardship of major gift donors.
  • Build relationships with alumni, community leaders, and engaged philanthropists to align their philanthropy with the charitable priorities of UNMC.
  • Showcase our mission by building relationships that lead to providing student support for the next generation of students, and endowed faculty positions that enhance our prestigious education and research.

What you need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-5 years’ experience in development, fundraising, sales, or a related field with transferrable skills.
  • Demonstrated success in the solicitation of annual and major gifts, or transferable skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and manage a variety of projects and programs simultaneously.
  • Discretion in handling and navigating confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
