Construction Services

• Plan and schedule skilled trades shops on all Construction Services in-house projects.
• Review projects to provide supervisors help with scheduling deliverables and overseeing estimate proposals.
• Coordinate and direct supervisors, estimator and support staff. Resolve daily personnel issues involving skilled trades staff.
• Review and collaborate weekly progress of projects and work orders.
• Prioritize project and work order assignments requested by University departments, faculty and staff.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance by making sure blueprints and specifications are followed.
• Negotiate terms of agreement for rental contracts and material pricing.
• Inspect or supervise inspection of in-house work to ensure compliance with building and safety codes as well as adherence to job specifications.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks for project delays, project safety, material availability
• Maintain continual contact with customers regarding customer service issues.
• Provide construction and trade expertise and guidance on projects.
• Ensure the budget is adequate on the large and more complex projects.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Salary Range: 65,776 - $128,430 Annually

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
