Job Description

This person will assist the All of Us Research Program by collecting and processing blood and urine specimens for transport to a robotic BioBank.
Attention to detail and excellent phlebotomy skills are required. Experience with ultrasound assisted phlebotomy and experience with syncope, cancer patients and other difficult patients is desirable. There is opportunity for growth in working to consent and enroll patients in addition to collecting and processing biosamples. This person will provide technical support to the discovery and development of new product ideas or strategic product extensions. This person will participate in analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work in support of product development scientists and engineers. This person will collect and classify new product ideas and capture specifications for product requirements and functionality.

  • Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish the team objectives.
  • Completes work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Assists in construction, installation, maintenance and repair of technical equipment based on work assignments and guidance from supervisors
  • Assists in the design of parts and equipment
  • Performs laboratory and/or research tests, analyses, procedures, etc., as assigned
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems (e.g., repairs, troubleshooting) that can occur in own work area by evaluating and selecting solutions from established operating procedures and/or analytical/scientific methods
  • Evaluates and monitors parts, tools, machinery, equipment, and inventory
  • Impacts the quality of own work and team through accuracy, efficiency, quality, etc.
  • Communicates moderately complex technical information within the team (e.g., making suggestions and recommendations)

Shift

Variable based on project needs and supervisor approval; anticipated 20-30 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Spanish language fluency or working, functional command.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $14.51 - $25.33/hour
Grade: GGS-006
