Additional Information:
The focus of the Wolfe Laboratory is the development of genome editing (CRISPR/Cas systems) and gene regulation (zinc finger proteins) tools to employ as new classes of therapeutics. The successful candidate would be a part of an interdisciplinary team of laboratory scientists, clinicians, and computational biologists that are working on therapeutics for a variety of hematopoietic and neuromuscular disorders. We are looking for a candidate that would be a key player in developing and characterizing novel genome editing and gene regulation systems that would be used to develop therapies for these disorders – with these reagents potentially being used in clinical trials.
