A clinically competent professional who utilizes the nursing process to direct and deliver care to the patient population in the Behavioral Health Outpatient setting. Primary responsibilities will be focused in the Outpatient psychiatry clinic, but coverage sometimes may be necessary in the other outpatient programs.

Providing a vast continuum of behavioral health care, including outpatient, primary care office, intensive outpatient, inpatient psychiatry, crisis center, and the emergency department, you will be able to thrive and grow professionally with our strong leadership team.
Education & Training:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland. Certification in BCLS required. Additional certification and training as determined by department per job task list. Minimum of 2 years psychiatric nursing/mental health experience required.
Work Orientation & Experience: Orientation based on experience level and determined by unit.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to: a) convey effective verbal and written communications; b) utilize basic assessment and critical thinking skills; c) organize and manage time effectively setting appropriate priorities; d) make independent decisions consistent with current policies, procedures and nursing standards; f) adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the office, g) effectively function as a member of a collaborative team; h) respond to emergency situations appropriately, and i) adhere to standards of behavior and support Culture of Excellence.
