Position Title: Assistant MEP Manager for Satellite Campuses

Responsibilities:

The Assistant MEP Manager for Satellite Campuses is responsible for providing support and directly reporting to the Assistant Director of Maintenance and Repair for Satellite Campuses. This individual will oversee the Mechanical (HVAC & HVAC Controls), Electrical, and Plumbing shops to ensure the completion of maintenance & repairs, new remodel projects, and renovations in current satellite campus buildings. The role involves project coordination with the department’s Facilities Manager and overseeing the various shops under their purview.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide direct oversight and leadership of the Mechanical (HVAC & HVAC Controls), Electrical, and Plumbing shops.
-Coordinate with the Facilities Manager and other department personnel to plan and execute maintenance, repair, and renovation projects.
-Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others.
-Serve as a team leader for various facilities personnel as needed.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, minimum 40 hours per week. Some after hour or weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
-Technical diploma in Mechanical (HVAC & HVAC Controls), Electrical, or Plumbing trades
-OR 5 years’ experience in Mechanical (HVAC & HVAC Controls), Electrical, or Plumbing trades will substitute for the degree requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in a Supervisory role of an MEP engineering department.
-Experience with power distribution and lighting controls.
-Experience with Elevators, Fire panels, and sprinkler systems a plus.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
