Position Title: Assistant Director of Maintenance and Repairs for Satellite Campuses

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Maintenance & Repairs for SatelliteCampuses is a critical leadership role within the Facility ManagementDepartment, responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility repairs,maintenance, renovations, and remodels across the university's satellitecampuses. This position reports directly to the Director of Facility Managementand works closely with departmental leadership, Assistant Directors, Managers,Assistant Managers, and Supervisors to ensure the efficient and effectiveoperation of maintenance and repair projects.
Responsibilities:
-Provide support to the Facility Management Department and act as the primary coordinator for all facility repairs, maintenance, renovations, and remodels
-Supervise and provide leadership to staff within the Facility Management department
-Coordinate and communicate project needs and timelines with campus Administration, Faculty, Staff, and university personnel
-Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Maintenance and Repairs for Main Campus and/or the NIRC manager of physical facilities as needed
-Build collaborative relationships with university personnel and departments to promote efficiency, accountability, and productivity in maintenance and renovation projects
-Manage project coordination and communication to ensure timely completion of all work
-Possess strong communication and task management skills
-Be a self-starter capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and handling a high-stress environment
-Directly supervise the work of others and may act as a second-level supervisor for various technical field staff within the facility management department

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and have at least 5 years of experience in general construction, property, orfacilities management 

- OR have a high school diploma with at least 5 years of FacilityMaintenance Experience plus 10 years of construction experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experiencein Management or Supervisory role within a Higher Educational facility.
-Experiencewith the work order computer program TMA.
-Abilityto read, interpret, and help develop plans and specifications for renovation orremodel projects.
-Applicant should be familiar with the State procurement policiesand bid procedures.
