Job Summary
Prototyping guides in the Innovation Center work with diverse students on a wide range of projects. In this position an individual is expected to monitor the safe use of production equipment, demonstrate strong communication skills with current and perspective students, teach novice users of the lab how to properly use equipment, and complete responsibilities related to maintenance and data collection in the lab.
Equipment and Software that individuals will be expected to show competency in.
  • FDM and SLA 3D Printers
  • CNC Mills
  • CNC Routers
  • Laser Cutters
  • 3D Modeling (Onshape, Autodesk Fusion)
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • PCB Mills
  • Small Vacuum Formers
  • Common Wood working tool (Band Saw, Drill press, Jig saw…)
  • Additional equipment in the lab


Resume and available hours for Fall 2024 Semester required attachments.
