Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced warehouse equipment operator and materials handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery, as well as
the proper handling and movement of materials throughout the Kentucky Geological Survey rock sample and rock core storage facility (Earth Analysis Research Library). The location of this position is 2500 Research Park Drive in Lexington, KY (off Newtown Pike).
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Warehouse experience,materials handling, large-equipment experience/training, valid forklift license or certification desired, strong attention todetail, ability to follow instructions, excellent spatial awareness and maneuvering skills, knowledge of warehouse safety practices. Some post-secondary education desired.
