University of Kansas is Hiring a Dr. Fang Undergraduate Research Assistant - Student Hourly Near Lawrence, KS
Position Overview
We are looking for applicants to fill one Undergraduate Research Assistant position during the Spring of 2024. The URA will be hired by faculty to assist in the development of second-life battery systems. The starting and end dates are negotiable, and the employment may be renewed depending on the project progress and work performance.
Job Description
Work individually and in-team to do research and development through design, validation, and experiments.
Document the development results, and prepare project reports.
Attend team meetings and report the progress to the faculty advisor on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications
Enrolled in engineering programs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Satisfactory academic performance
Passion for design projects
KU Student must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours each semester during the academic year. Enrollment of one (1) hour during the summer session is required if the student was not enrolled in the previous spring or is not pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall term.
Preferred Qualifications
Enrolled in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering programs
