Job Description

This position is responsible for the operational support of the University’s graduate programs, ensuring the CRM operates efficiently and effectively by identifying, designing, and applying the most effective technology and business practice solutions. The position applies demonstrated expertise and leadership to guide the departments and users of the supported systems to the most effective use of the systems to achieve the goals of each graduate academic unit and the strategic mission of the University of Indianapolis.

Associate Director of Admissions: Operations Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of work in CRM management (Slate preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Master's Degree preferred

Associate Director of Admissions: Operations Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, design, and implementation of strategic recruitment efforts to support the University’s goals for new graduate students, as well as the establishment of a diverse student body.
  • Collaborates with departments to provide support in designing and maintaining application forms and enhancing existing applications.
  • Works with the Academic Deans, Associate Deans, faculty, and University Marketing and Communications in implementing strategies to promote graduate program enrollment, including developing personalized marketing collateral, relevant web content, and advertising campaigns.
  • Helps to develop, plan, and participate in the testing of CRM upgrades and new releases.
  • Is a member of the team that maintains the Slate CRM data environment, including creating, improving, and documenting data fields, rules, and uploads.
  • Confers with the Graduate Admission team members to analyze business practices,evaluate needs, and review and recommend ways to improve efficiency and leveragefunctionality, ensuring high levels of performance in the graduate admissions process.
  • Utilizes existing Slate CRM, including writing custom SQL, for queries, departmental reporting, business processes/integrations, and email campaigns.
  • Knowledge of graduate education admission processes, best practices, and communication flows.
  • Experience with data integration between different software platforms is a plus (Banner, Axiom)
  • Basic working knowledge of SQL and Javascript
  • Clear operational understanding of higher education culture and excellent planning, coordinative, implementation, data analytic skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
