Minimum Starting Salary: $30.76 per hour / 7.5 hour work day

Summary:
The Program Director - Corporate Relationship Manager supports the Director of Development by overseeing the corporate fundraising program of the UIS Performing Arts Center and serving as the department's primary liaison with corporate partners. This position will play a key role in meeting the department's fundraising goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate giving program, including identifying new prospects, cultivating existing relationships, and soliciting donations
  • Serve as primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring timely communication and excellent customer service
  • Coordinate sponsor recognition and benefits, including tracking deliverables and fulfilling contractual obligations
  • Conduct research on corporate giving trends and best practices, and provide recommendations for new strategies and tactics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling sponsorship packages that align with corporate partners’ business objectives
  • Prepare reports on the success of the corporate giving program, including revenue generated, donor engagement, and other relevant metrics
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Development team to achieve departmental fundraising goals
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. A total of three (3) years (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position such as corporate fundraising, sales, marketing, or account management.
(Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Performing Arts may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Performing Arts, or related field
2. Experience in the arts and culture sector
3. Prior experience in corporate fundraising, sales, or account management, preferably in a university setting

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Knowledge of fundraising and development principles and practices
Comfortable with making cold-calls to develop prospect leads
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Travel Requirements:
50% Regular local and regional visits with prospects and donors
