The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and University of Idaho Extension invites applications for the role of Soil Stewards Farm Manager for a 4-month, seasonal appointment. This position is pivotal to the operation, management, and success of the 3-acre Soil Stewards Farm, a beacon of sustainable, regenerative, and organic agricultural practices located at the edge of the UI Moscow campus. Our farm not only produces high-quality organic food for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs but also serves as a vital educational and research hub, supporting the Soil Steward Club's efforts in food production and marketing, alongside facilitating research and extension activities. Direct and oversee all farm operations, including managing or performing day-to-day farm activities. Manage student farm employees. Maintain a safe and productive work environment for all employees and volunteers. Percentage Of Time 65%

- Demonstrated experience in organic farming, sustainable agriculture, or a related field. - Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. - Commitment to sustainability, education, and community engagement. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in safely operating small farm machinery and implements. - Demonstrated ability to manage, inspire, and work collaboratively with diverse groups. - Relevant academic background (degree in agriculture, environmental science, or related field). Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
