Position Summary | This position will provide general support for the lab, to boost the efficency of project output and expedite experimental results. This will include media and stock preparation, dishwashing, and greenhouse maintenance, tissue culture, DNA extractions and PCR. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies | Sterile technique; plant tissue and cell culture. Plant husbandry. |
Physical Demands | Plant care for soybeans, rice and switchgrass plants in the greenhouse in hot and cold temps, including lifting pots and soil. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Occasional field work. |
