Position 1-
Detroit Mercy Dental is looking for a leader to provide direction and provision of dental services while maintaining standards of care at the Wayne County Health Communities (WCHC) Dental Clinics. WCHC is a non-profit organization, was awarded Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status in 2012. WCHC provides health services to community members regardless of their ability to pay.
Position 2-
Detroit Mercy Dental is seeking a dentist to assume a leadership role, guiding, and delivering dental services in the Titans for Teeth Mobile Programs (TFTMP). TFTMPs offer preventive and comprehensive care for both children and adults across three mobile clinics.
Both Positions-
This position includes a joint appointment as Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the School of Dentistry. Apart from providing direct patient care, this individual will supervise, advice and counsel junior and senior year dental and dental hygiene students who will rotate through the clinic for community based training experiences.
Successful candidate will assist in increasing the accessibility of care and preventative dentistry in an underserved area.
Salary is incentive based and includes benefits given to faculty at the School of Dentistry.
Qualifications
Meet requirements for dental (DDS/DMD) licensure in the State of Michigan.
