This position will be responsible for the safe operation of campus owned shuttles to transport passengers to and from the main campus to distant parking lots. This position will also provide periodic charter shuttle services for campus departments needing to transport passengers to off campus locations which will be within a 100 air-mile radius of the main campus.
This 50% position will generally only work Mondays – Fridays during the fall, spring and summer terms each year, which is approximately 40 weeks per year. During the 16 week fall semester and the 16 week spring semester, this position will work an average of 32 hours each week. During the 8 week summer semester, this position will work an average of 14 hours each week. When charter services are needed, this position may be required to work during the 3-4 week breaks between each semester and on occasional weekend days throughout the entire year.
This position is subject to random driving record checks and random alcohol and drug screenings throughout the entire employment period.

Annual average will be $19,760 - $20,800. This position is a part-time, 50% appointment, and generally only work during the fall, spring, and summer academic semesters.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. Employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Tasks may involve climbing, stooping, kneeling; requires near acuity (clarity of vision at 20 inches or less) and far acuity (clarity of vision at 20 feet or more), depth perception, and field of vision. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
