Undergraduate Admissions:The Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports the university in meeting its strategic enrollment goals and fulfilling the UCF Strategic Plan. It is responsible for coordinating the identification, recruitment, admissions and enrollment of all undergraduate first-time-in-college, transfer, non-degree, dual enrollment, early admission and non-Florida public institution transient students. The office leverages the UCF brand to market, communicate and engage with broadly diverse, talented, and academically qualified students who will enrich our community and achieve academic and personal excellence.The Opportunity :UCF's Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks an Assistant Director, University Admissions to join their team! Under the direction of the Director of Undergraduate Admissions for Strategic Recruitment and External Relations this position is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.Responsibilities:This position will manage and oversee the admission application file review process including monitoring all decision making, establishing file review goals for all staff, training staff in admission file review, and working closely with senior leadership within Undergraduate Admissions to meet the university's enrollment goals. Reviews and evaluates admission applications and academic credentials. Computes high school and college grade point averages for applicants in compliance with the State of Florida and university admissions standards. Renders admissions decision on these applications.Member of the Undergraduate Admissions Slate Team as the Recruitment representative.Supervises one Student Admissions Counselor II.Responsible for assisting in the management, administration, and implementation of all university policies and procedures related to the recruitment, admission and enrollment of undergraduate students.Maintains accurate enrollment data and assists in providing periodic and annual reports.Performs other administrative duties as assigned by the Director for Recruitment and External relations.Minimum Qualifications :Bachelor's and 4 years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 2 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year(s) of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Preferred Qualifications :Experience in working with high achievers and other target populations.Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.A strong sense of initiative and creativity.Previous experience in admissions.Additional Application Materials Required:Please upload your most up-to-date resume and be sure it includes your entire work history.
