Job Summary

Please note: this will be approximately 10 hours per week, variable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect data, recruit participants, manage data, and assist in analyzing and interpreting research findings.
  • Aid in surveys, create promotional materials (e.g., flyers), manage social media channels, and input data into databases.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Uphold data integrity and confidentiality standards.
  • Follow research protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain study integrity and data reliability.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines when involving human subjects in research, ensuring participant rights, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for conferences and scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with other research team members, including principal investigators, co-investigators, and graduate students.
The hourly compensation range for this role is $24.28 - 51.48. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate, position requirements, AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Department Description

UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.

  • Bachelors degree in related area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer an RA with experience in the area
