Job Summary
Under the general direction of the CO Solution Center Manager and supervision of the CO Solution Center Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for analyzing diverse campus-wide requests and inquiries from numerous entities for the Controller's Office. The incumbent must be able to utilize a broad spectrum of systems, disbursement, and accounting policies and procedures to provide general guidance on processes and to resolve outstanding issues. Additionally, this role may be called upon to assist in creating and documenting procedures, training, and process changes. This role may involve reaching out to other functional or business units to coordinate solutions on urgent or time-sensitive requests. The incumbent may also be called upon to provide analysis to aid in monitoring quality assurance, evaluate areas for growth, or identify areas where efficiencies can be gained. Lastly, the incumbent will also be responsible for meeting Service Level expectations set for the unit, as well as assisting in providing report metrics for key goals and objectives and contributing to a variety of project related activities.

Department Description
The UCSF Controller's organization delivers full accounting services and related systems for faculty, staff and students, UCSF Foundation, all University departments, and any outside entities who have a business relationship with the University. Services provided include general ledger, capital and cash accounting, payroll, student loan billing and collections, sponsored research accounting, and a customer service center. The office uses sophisticated technology to account and report on UCSF financial activity.
The Controller's Office Solution Center is charged with delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of responses to a variety of inquiries sent to the Controller's Office. It serves as the single point of contact support for campus departments, employees, and others to resolve inquiries related to a variety of Controller's Office functions and systems.
