University of California, Riverside is Hiring a Financial Accounting and Compliance Analyst Near Oakland, CA

UC Riverside's Auxiliary Services Finance and Business Operations is recruiting for a Financial Accounting and Compliance Analyst. The full salary range for the Financial Accounting and Compliance Analyst is $64,300.00 - $114,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $76,800 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
The Financial Accounting and Compliance Analyst develops procedures for performance of a variety of duties, and performs complex duties within established policy guidelines. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director, the Financial Accounting and Compliance Analyst operates with moderate independence by providing high level analysis, reconciliation, and accounting support with focus on revenue intake, agreement schedules, and compliance for Auxiliary Services. Drives trend analysis and forecasting to support financial management and operational practices. Responsible for complex reporting, data management, income tracking, and approval. Position leads best practice review and recommendation and ensures adherence to local, UC, state, and industry policies and regulations. Serves as liaison with Auxiliary Services Financial Analysis Unit, central Purchasing, and Accounting. Serves as principle driver in support of the Assistant Director for fiscal close activities and requirements. Is able to take lead on presentations and facilitate communication and meetings with groups and constituents at all levels.
