University of California, Riverside is Hiring an Academic Personnel Assistant Near Oakland, CA
Under the supervision of the Assistant and/or Director of the Academic Personnel Services Unit (APSU) in the HARVEST Shared Services Center in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS), provides Academic Personnel administrative support to multiple departments in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. Responsibilities include Preparation of appointment/reappointment files for non-Senate academics; Visa Processing; Academic Senate and Non-Senate recruitments; Determining Instructional Work Credits; Coordination of materials and forms for processing academic leaves, exception removals; Working closely with the Department Chair and faculty members as the first point of contact for academic personnel matters.
The full salary range for the Academic Personnel Assistant is $27.29 - $39.12 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
