Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator uses her/his skills as an experienced project manager to serve as a liaison between admissions and marketing. S/he will be responsible for maintaining communications calendars and documentation. The incumbent will implement aspects of CRM systems to enhance the recruitment of prospective students, including sending pre- and post-event outreach emails and helping to implement and analyze survey data to strengthen marketing efforts. S/he will coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure the information displayed on admissions and new admit websites is up-to-date.
Under general supervision, plans, develops and implements basic marketing plans, strategies and / or events for small or non-complex projects.
Partners with Admissions Event Managers to organize, compile, and occasionally develop event collateral.
Creates/maintains marketing files, records, calendars, logs and other related documents.
Partners with Marketing Operations Manager to create and maintain calendars and documentation within Notion and organize and maintain files in HubSpot.
Drafts and/or edits copy for marketing projects or programs such as publications, advertisements, press releases, emails, announcements, etc.
Partners with Lifecycle Marketing Manager and Email Marketing Manager to develop and implement pre- and post-event email outreach Coordinates with Web Production Manager, Admissions, Program Office, and Career Management Group to ensure information displayed on admissions and new admit websites is up-to-date.
Conducts basic market research and generates and uses marketing and/or admissions reports.
Partners with Marketing LIfecycle Manager to implement and analyze survey data to strengthen marketing efforts
Researches and resolves problems.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a coordinator or project manager with a solid knowledge of marketing principles and best practices. Organizational skills and skills in file creation, maintenance and management of marketing support materials, including the ability to ensure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed. Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a desire to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to establish and maintain positive & professional working relationships with colleagues, students and team members. Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Salary & Benefits
This is a 100% full-time (40 hrs a week) non-exempt career position. Hourly pay is commensurate with experience.

Under California law, the University of California, Berkeley is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $31.94 to $37.35 per hour.
