Human Resources Department at the University at Buffalo is seeking a
Payroll Specialist.As a Payroll Specialist, you will:- Collaborate with a team to provide expert guidance on appropriate policies and procedures to departments and employees.
- Respond timely and appropriately to various requests for information or assistance to include employment verifications, appointment information, transaction processing, etc.
- Utilizing various systems; review and process complex payroll transactions for the Research Foundation. This entails significant data input into systems.
- Be responsible for various other related duties and project work as assigned.

- Some college level coursework and three (3) years progressive clerical experience.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills
- Ability to work reliably with minimal supervision, once trained.

Preferred Qualifications One or more years of payroll experience Physical Demands Salary Range $45,000 - $50,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
