University of Alaska - External Careers is Hiring a Seward Marine Center - Temporary Employee Pool Near Seward, AK

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt position. New hires will be placed on the UA Temporary Staff Salary Schedule based on education and experience.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire year. 

The Seward Marine Center (SMC) is located approximately 130 miles south of Anchorage at the head of Resurrection Bay. Co-located with the Alaska SeaLife Center and the Alutiiq Pride Shellfish Hatchery, the Seward campus is a central feature in the community of Seward and the Kenai Peninsula. SMC is one of Alaska's primary docking facilities for marine research vessels.

This is a temporary pool and duties will vary depending on departmental needs.
