Vice President, University Enterprises and Events.
Applications will be accepted until 4/11/2022.Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Vice President for University Enterprises and Events (UEE) serves as a key university leader and member of the President's Leadership Council (PLC). The vice president provides strategic vision for a customer-oriented culture that is consistent with the University's mission and strategic plan. The vice president is expected to display an understanding, respect, and embodiment of the University's Catholic mission, and ensure that this mission is central to decision making. The responsibilities require a growth mindset and knowledge of best practices across higher education and for-profit hospitality industries.
Responsibilities include providing executive leadership for over 30 business units generating $130 million annual gross auxiliary revenue and $40 million annual net income. The position leads the largest administrative division at the University, with around 800 full-time and part-time employees and 200-400 temporary employees, and maintains a consistent commitment to division culture and to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsible for oversight of the student and guest dining experiences, the vice president also provides executive leadership for the planning and execution of University hospitality and major events, including Commencement, concerts, Development special events, and football Gameday hospitality.
Collaboration with a variety of University leaders, including PLC members and Deans, is essential to advance the University's mission. Moreover, the position works with the UEE Senior Leadership Team to lead the following business units:

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree required; masters degree strongly preferred. Seven years experience demonstrating the following:
- Leadership of a high-performing team displaying a high degree of excellence.
- Strategic and bold thinking in a fast-paced and changing environment while always pursuing higher levels of excellence.
- Ability to set a vision, create goals, execute and objectively measure success.
- Ability to attract, recruit and retain outstanding and diverse talent.

- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
