Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining departmental operations to meet compliance with El Paso Health’s administrative and regulatory requirements. Assists with the management of the data collection methodology and analysis of outcomes related to quality improvement activities and projects. Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
Required Skills:
1. Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and Cyrstal Reports.
2. Must demonstrate aptitude with project management.
3. Extreme attention to detail is required, in addition to strong planning and organizational skills.
4. Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
5. Team building and exemplary interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in the principals of analytical assessment and creative problem solving.
7. Understands and utilizes the fundamentals of continuous quality improvement.
8. Able to work both independently and as a member of the El Paso Health Team.
9. Able to accept and institute change.
Required Experience:
Work Experience
Two years of experience in quality improvement and/or data gathering and analysis required, preferably in healthcare setting. Must have experience compiling and analyzing data, determining trends, and experience in performing root cause analysis. Must have experience in summarizing and presenting data to a diverse audience. Experience in writing effective policies and procedures and meeting minutes is preferred.
License/Registration/Certification
None
Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Statistics required.
