Job Summary: Plans and executes the direction of information technology to support the goals and objectives of the organization to include participating in developing, implementing, and evaluating departmental IT strategic plans. Manages the quality, timeliness, operations, and cost effectiveness of Information Technology application integration efforts. Oversees the PFS System Analysts in support of all PFS financial and billing systems. Minimum Job Requirements: Work Experience: Five years' experience involving extensive experience with clinical and financial information systems within a healthcare environment. Experience in implementation and support systems required. Prior programming experience preferred. Five years management experience required. License/Registration/Certification: None Education and Training: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field required. Skills: Effective written and oral communications skills for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of hospital personnel and its affiliates. Broad understanding of newer information technologies related to healthcare computing and operational processes. Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Strong technical skills and a complete familiarity with current information systems management concepts and terminology are required. Proficient in creative problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to translate user requirements into functional technical specifications. A strong emphasis on process orientation is required. Strong technical skills in a wide variety of hardware, software, and operating systems. Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks in a support and management role. Must have experience as a team leader in a project and resource management role. Ability to work in a consultative manner. Must be self-motivated, analytical, a good troubleshooter, and goal oriented. Ability to coach and develop Associates, maximizing performance based on mutual agreement of measurable performance objectives and methods for tracking performance.
