Position Title: Building Automation Senior Service Technician

Position Description

Starting Salary Range:$46 -$53 per hour

Non-Exempt

US Applicants Only

Hours: 7am-4pm. Some jobs require schedule flexibility.

General Position Summary:

The primary focus of this position is to provide support services to our existing customers, tenant improvements, system upgrades, and work with project engineers to startup and commission construction projects.

Position Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Provide building analytics, maintenance, and system repairs on existing building automations systems.

2.Program databases for all supported systems to meet specified sequences of operation and equipment manufacturers recommendations, in accordance with company standards and controls drawings.

3.Perform calibration and check-out of control systems “Point to Point” and ensures that specified sequence of operations and commissioning requirements are met in a timely manner.

4.Work with graphics coordinator to provide the labor and expertise for the preparation and delivery of graphical user interfaces when required for projects based on design and contractual obligations.

5.Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget.

Primary Skills and Abilities:

1.DDC/system programming skills.

2.Strong interactive and communication skills.

3.Strong external/internal customer service and customer relationship skills.

4.Strong electrical and mechanical system knowledge.

5.Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits.

6.Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications.

7.Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Credentials and Experience:

•5 years of experience working in the Building Automation Industry

•Tridium\Niagara N4 certified (preferred)

•Experience with Distech (preferred)

•HVAC and Mechanical system experience

•Electrical theory and or electronics training and certification

•Computer and networking skills

Supervisory Responsibility:

•None

Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:

•Maintain a valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record.
