As the Director you are responsible for the strategic oversight, leadership and management of inpatient and outpatient pediatric and adult audio logy services.
Education/Expertise:
Masters degree required.
Doctorate in Audiology(PhD or Clinical Doctorate) highly desired
Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):
Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice Audiology
Experience & Knowledge:
Requires fundamental knowledge and the ability to apply the principles and practices related to Audiology, appropriate to the developmental/chronological age of patients on caseload. Minimum of 7 years experience in a medical setting with adult and pediatric patients, hearing aids, OAEs, ENGs, and evoked response audiometry. Cochlear implant experience is desirable. Previous Supervisory experience is desirable.
Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
Exposure and familiarity with audiometric equipment including audiometers, audiometric booths, immittance bridges, otoacoustic emissions, electroystamograph, auditory evoked responses, VRA, TROCA
