Under the direction of a member of leadership and through collaborative teamwork, engages in responding to requests for services and departmental functions. Provides assistance as requested to patients, staff and visitors. Assists with project work, and provides technical and administrative support to Nursing related activities and other areas throughout the organization. Duties as detailed below may encompass a broad spectrum, or may be related to one or two activities dependent on the design of a project or special effort.

Required:

• Current enrollment in college program, progressing to completion of undergraduate degree, or possesses the experience and skills required for the project/assignment.
• Must have the ability to work any shift during hours of operation to include weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Must demonstrate outstanding verbal communication, customer-focus and problem solving skills.
• Pleasant, outgoing demeanor, superior phone skills, excellent judgment and proactive manner.
• Proficient in use of computer equipment, both hardware and software
• Course work in Health Sciences and Public Health preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, analyze, and coordinate data/information and activities.
• Ability to function independently and exhibit initiative in the completion of tasks.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize works tasks, and deal with issues with tact and confidentiality.
• Ability to remain professional and organized in a high stress environment
