POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists Call Center Manager with oversight of the CareLink Call Center. Supervises shift operations and productivity. Assures appropriate staffing needs and training on a daily basis. Ensures that phone calls and emails from CareLink members and potential members are answered in an efficient manner and processed accurately and timely. Maintains strict confidentiality of patient records. Provides excellent customer service and adheres to the standards and behaviors of University Health
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. One year of college study or the completion of a recognized clerical vocational training program with medical terminology is preferred. Must have two years of experience in hospital admitting or a business office or three years experience in CareLink. Billing knowledge is preferred. . Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
