POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as the back-up point of contact for the Executive Director, Epic Inpatient. Continues to maintain job responsibilities to design, build, and test the system to achieve workflow requirements for his / her assigned application. Coordinates multi-application projects as needed and is able to provide leadership updates on projects.
Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner.
Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UH staff as well as perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UH policies and procedures.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field is required. Four years work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement.
Four years of experience as an Epic application analyst required. Four years of experience specifically in Epic Inpatient applications preferred. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment testing if not currently certified and in good standing.
