We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented scheduler to join our team. As a Surgery Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of scheduling patients for surgery. Scheduler receives requests to schedule procedures from physician and schedules the procedure according to established guidelines. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with only general supervision

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to the appropriately
• Scheduling surgical operations
• Assist with medical administrative tasks including insurance verification and billing
• Obtaining pre-op clearance and medical records
• Providing patients with directions before and after surgery.

Experience:

• Proven experience in an administrative or front desk role
• Familiarity with office procedures and phone systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support
• Experience working in a medical office setting is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
