University of California - Los Angeles Health is Hiring an Assistant Study Coordinator, Orthopaedic Surgery Near Santa Monica, CA

DescriptionThe Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator assists the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in contributing to the overall operational management of clinical research/trial/study activities. You recognize and perform necessary tasks to assist the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in managing projects and prioritizing work to meet necessary deadlines. You will support the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in planning and organizing necessary tasks to ensure adherence to the study protocol and applicable regulations.Salary Range: $26.29-$42.28/hour
Qualifications* Experience in a Health Care Setting * Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy* Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.* Strong organizational capabilities.* Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions* Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.* Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.* Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.* Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.* Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.* Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.* Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.* Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.
