Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all nursing activities to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.

Duties:

- Manage and supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Uphold resident rights and provide a safe and caring environment
- Oversee the delivery of hospice care and acute care services
- Utilize medical terminology and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide patient care
- Efficiently manage nursing shifts and schedules
- Coordinate with home health agencies for comprehensive resident care

Skills:

- Proven experience in supervising nursing staff in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of hospice care, acute care, and medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Proficiency in anatomy to support clinical decision-making
- Ability to manage nursing shifts effectively to ensure quality care
- Experience collaborating with home health agencies for integrated care solutions

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
